Troy University Hosts International Fesitval

 Hundreds celebrated international cultures tonight at Troy.

Troy University held it’s annual ISCO festival.Â

More than 300 people got a taste of international cuisine and enjoyed performance put on by Troy international students.Â

The International Student Cultural Organization (ISCO) Â puts on the event to showcase student culture and bring together people from all across the globe.Â

Joe McCall, ISCO Faculty Advisor & Senior Lecturer of History said, “While it’s very important for American and international student to meet. The other beautiful hidden benefit of our program at Troy is that a kid from Tunisia becomes really good friends with a kid from Turkmenistan.”

Mac-jane Chukwu, Vice President ISCO said, “I think having a festival like this kind of shows the world a little bit of what we enjoy on our campus.”
This is event concludes a full week of events for International Education Week.Â

Nearly 800 students representing 75 countries are enrolled on the Troy campus.Â
