Pike Co. Events to Ring in New Year
The state’s New Years Eve celebrations extend beyond Montgomery. Pike County has some other options for people looking to ring in 2015 in a big way.

Sips on the Square is sticking to it’s name this New Year’s Eve. It’s the second year of prep for their black and white affair. Thirty dollars gets you a different food and wine or beer pairing every hour starting at 9.Â

Down in Brundidge Studio 116 is hosting their third annual peanut drop. This peanut will drop at 8 for the early crowd and midnight.Â

Chris Rich, Co-Director Studio 116 said, “It’s a potluck, it’s a concert, it’s a dance, it’s games. Folks will be playing cards till midnight. It’s a nice everyone to kind of bring in the new year their own way.” (end covered with VO)
