Clearing & Turning Cooler

A cold front has moved south of us and now high pressure is building over the area. This should help clear the skies and cool us down for a few days. Morning temps will start out in the mid to upper 50s while mid to upper 70s will be common during the afternoon hours. Thursday and Friday will support lots…

Turning Cooler The Next Few Days

A frontal boundary just to our north is separating cool/rainy conditions from warm summer-like weather across our area. The front makes a push through here overnight. This will put us in a cooler and drier weather set up for the next several days. Morning temps will drop into the mid 50s while daytime highs manage mid to upper 70s. Another…

Showers Possible At Times

A rather active weather pattern has returned to the deep south and this will lead to some rain for our area. A cold front will move southeastward while southwest winds bring in gulf moisture to the region. Scattered showers and even a few t-storms will be possible ahead of the frontal boundary tonight into Tuesday. The front slides south of…

Fall finally arrives!

Michael is long gone and our first real fall cold front has moved through the area allowing cooler air to spill into the deep south. Rain Returns Next Week

It’s going to feel like summer over the weekend but next week there’s a weather pattern change coming our way. For now, high pressure continues to dominate and keep conditions hot and dry. Temps will manage lower 90s for highs. The chance for any rain activity is slim to none. Next week, we have two weather features that will have…

Hot & Dry For Now But Possibly Wet Next Week !

The main weather feature over the deep south is high pressure and it’s helping maintain this summer-like weather pattern. The ridge hovers around through the middle of next week. This means we stay mainly hot and dry each day. Temperatures will manage upper 80s to lower 90s for highs. The chance for rain will remain slim to none through the…

No signs of fall around here

Fall continues to be on hold as we experience more of this summer-like weather around here. High pressure is keeping it mostly sunny and quite warm for this time of the year. Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s to lower 90s through the weekend and into early next week. The chance for any decent rain activity is slim to…
