Carrington Cole is a Reporter/MMJ for WAKA Action 8 News. She also works in the Creative Services Department editing station promotion and commercials.
Carrington was born and raised in Montgomery and has always dreamed of working in the media industry. She is a 2019 Auburn University graduate with a degree in Visual Media and a minor in Theatre.
Carrington interned with WSFA in Montgomery and War Eagle Productions while finishing her bachelor’s degree. She moved to Atlanta after graduating college where she worked in a production company before moving back to Alabama in 2020.
She has been working with WAKA since May 2021 and has been excited to learn more about the media industry.
When she’s not working, Carrington loves shopping for clothes and getting new books to read. At home, she’s usually curled up with her cat while watching a horror movie.

The master plan consists of connecting a network of greenways throughout the city, so that residents can move about the River Region in a more green way.
The Montgomery Salvation Army has been in desperate need of donations and volunteers after their recent move to their temporary location on 12 East Delano Avenue.
Buc-ee's is not like any gas station you've been to before.
Even with the additional space, MAFB is still in desperate need of food donations and volunteers to help them.Â
The first place winner has the chance of winning $2,500 and a chance at a recording demo with The Tool Shed Recording Studio.
The fundraiser wasn't started by the LAMP Principal or by any of the staff, but was an idea that came from the student body president and LAMP senior, Serenity Griffin.
The fountain is located at the roundabout on Bridge Street in Historic Downtown Prattville.
Saturday Academy is a program designed to target students who are not efficient in reading.
The campaign members discussed the more than 45% of Alabamians who currently live in poverty who they felt were left omitted from the Governor's address.
