A pedestrian has been struck and killed by a car in Montgomery.
The unidentified man was shot Saturday night just before midnight in the 2400 block of East South Boulevard.
Students were given handwriting tips — including how to write in cursive — and learned basic skills such as how to tie their shoes.
Organizations across Montgomery are helping students gear up for class by providing free school supplies.
Participants received cash in exchange for their firearms.
