Smoky skies force Denver Broncos to move practice indoors

Poor air quality in Denver forced the Broncos to scuttle a stadium practice. Instead they moved their workout indoors at their suburban headquarters. The Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse is usually a haven when wintry weather or late-summer thunderstorms force the team indoors. Coach Vic Fangio said he might schedule a stadium practice later this month. The skies are smoky because of the California wildfires and no wind along the Front Range to move the pollution along. When the Broncos began practice Denver’s air quality was the second worst in the world behind the Russian city of Krasnoyarsk in Siberia.
