Broncos QB competition still neck and neck after first week

Neither Drew Lock nor Teddy Bridgewater has separated himself from the other a week into their training camp competition to serve as the Denver Broncos’ starting quarterback. Both men had another up-and-down day Wednesday and both threw interceptions to cap the 2-minute drills that ended practice. One bright spot for the Broncos offense was the play of wide receiver Courtland Sutton. He’s coming back from a torn ACL that occurred in the second week of the 2020 season. He has made several jaw-dropping plays to help out his quarterbacks, who remain neck-and-neck after seven practices.
