Boston bullies: Celtics’ 31-3 run ends Nuggets’ win streak

The Boston Celtics ended the Denver Nuggets’ eight-game winning streak with a 105-87 victory. The Celtics used an epic 31-3 run spanning the third and fourth quarters to hand the Nuggets their first loss since March 24. The Nuggets have lost just four times in 21 games since Feb. 27. Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 28 points and Jaylen Brown scored 20. Michael Porter Jr. led Denver with 22 points despite missing all but one of his 12 3-point attempts. The Celtics closed the game by outscoring the Nuggets 40-8.
