Jakob Junis ran his scoreless streak to 14 innings and the Kansas City Royals staked him to a seven-run lead before their bullpen gave most of it back in a 7-5 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. Scott Barlow put two on with one out in the ninth for Kansas City before getting Bo Bichette to pop out and striking out Vladimir Guerrero Jr. for his first save of the season. Guerrero finished a triple shy of the cycle. Anthony Kay took the loss after giving up five runs over 3 1/3 innings in a spot start for Toronto.
