After about two months on the job, Montgomery Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Zickeyous Byrd sat down with Action 8 News to discuss his plans for improving the school system.
Byrd, who served as superintendent of Selma City Schools, was selected with four yes votes votes over one other finalist.
