Man Drowns Trying to Save 4-Year Old Daughter
Authorities say a man drowned while trying to rescue his daughter at Oak Mountain State Park beach. Shelby County coroner Lina Evans identified the victim as 40-year-old Amin Nizar Humirani of Hoover. Evans says Humirani’s 4-year-old daughter was in the water Sunday evening and became distressed.
