Thanks to all of you who donated, Action 8’s Magical Christmas Toy Drive has had another successful year.
For a dozen years, Action 8 has presented our Magical Christmas Toy Drive to benefit the Salvation Army of Montgomery. We are counting on your support again this year.
The donations were provided through Action 8’s Magical Christmas Toy Drive and other programs, like the Angel Tree.
The WAKA Action 8 Magical Christmas Toy Drive was another big success for the Salvation Army of Montgomery thanks to those of you who donated and to our community partners.
For the past 125 years, the Salvation Army has been providing food, clothing and shelter to those in need in the Montgomery area, and this year the demand is even greater.
The non-perishable items were collected during a can food drive in October.

The Salvation Army gave away free Thanksgiving meals for the homeless population in Montgomery. They opened their doors Thursday afternoon to allow guests to have a free lunch that included traditional Thanksgiving items like turkey, mac and cheese, stuffing and even dessert.
The Salvation Army of Montgomery still has a big need for volunteers to ring the bells for its annual Red Kettle Campaign. Lt. Tonya Farrington told Alabama News Network that they have 47 locations they would like to cover, but they’ve only been able to fill about 12 positions consistently.
