Two people have been killed in a two-car crash on Taylor Road in Montgomery.
Montgomery police are investigating a shooting on Taylor Road that left a man injured.
Construction is already underway at its Eastchase location across from Bojangles, which was announced earlier this year.
The auxiliary lane will allow traffic entering the interstate at Exit 11 to travel and exit the interstate at Exit 9 without merging into the flow of traffic.
Police and fire medics were called around 8:00 p.m. to the 2700 block of Taylor Road Tuesday.
The auxiliary lane would be similar to the one that runs from Taylor Road to Eastern Blvd.
Montgomery police have now identified the man who was struck by a car and died.
