The Alabama Department of Education has announced 16 finalists for the 2025-2026 Alabama Teacher of the Year, including three from our area.
Stringfellow will serve as the state’s official ambassador for public education and the teaching profession.
Alabama announced its 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year recipient. She has also been awarded a brand new set of wheels to use for the next year to help further educate her students.
This year’s Montgomery Public Schools Teacher of the Year is from Chisholm Elementary School. Neporshaia Jones, a kindergarten teacher, won the award.
