70-yr-old Charged With Murder After Stabbing in Goshen

 

Pike County Sheriff Russell Thomas says 70-year old Willie James Scott is charged with murder after allegedly stabbing 42-year-old Stephanie Zimmerman in the chest. 

 

It happened this morning at the couple’s home off Perrywood Road in Goshen. The sheriff said it started as an argument around 6 a.m. Friday.

 

Scott allegedly stabbed Zimmerman in the chest and she collapsed. Deputies responded shortly after. 

 

Sheriff Thomas said, “Domestic violence situation that turned deadly and we are going to get to the bottom of it. To determine exactly what happened and why it happened.”

 

Scott’s being held on $50,000 bond in Pike County jail.
