MONTHOMERY, AL — Round three of the Emerald Coast Golf Tour wrapped up today at the Arrowhead Country Club.
Local PGA golfer Steve Cutler had a one shot lead coming into today out of a group of 15 golfers. Cutler made a couple of birdies on the back nine to seal the deal, winning his second title in three years at this event.
“It feels good,” said Cutler. “Two out of three is fun. I enjoy tournament golf. It’s something I don’t do quite as frequently as these guys who travel around week-to-week. But being at the club, I get to play and practice.”
He brings home a 10-thousand dollar check.
“It’s enjoyable. I get to scratch the itch a little bit. My members support me. My family is here supporting me. It’s fun,” said Cutler.
