Jeff Davis’ Tynesha McWilliams inks with Alabama State
MONTGOMERY, Ala (AlabamaNews.Net) — Neither Alabama State University nor Jefferson Davis senior volleyballer Tynesha McWilliams had to look far to find their respective futures in volleyball.
Monday in front of family and friends, McWilliams made it official, signing her letter of intent papers to play for the Lady Hornets next season.
” It means a lot, and I worked hard for it,” McWilliams tells Alabama News Net’s Katherine Donnelly.” It means a lot to me, there’s a lot of hard work and dedication that comes with it so I’m glad I made it to this point where I’m at right now. Everyone was congratulating me and they’re really proud,” said a beaming McWilliams afterward.
McWilliams could see playing time right away as a freshman as Alabama State Head Volleyball Coach Penny Lucas-White has seven senior Hornets graduating the nest this season.
