Alabama hires Marynowitz as associate AD for football
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) – Former Philadelphia Eagles executive Ed Marynowitz has returned to Alabama as associate athletic director for football.
Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban announced Marynowitz’s hiring on Wednesday. Formerly Alabama’s director of player personnel, Marynowitz was the Eagles’ vice president of player personnel in 2015.
He oversaw the Eagles player personnel department, ran their pro and college scouting office and handled the preparation for the draft and free agency.
Marynowitz will work with the Tide’s player personnel department and football operations while assisting with athletic administration.
Marynowitz originally joined the Alabama staff in December 2008. The Eagles hired him in 2012 as assistant director of pro scouting.
