Uber a possibility at Montgomery airport

The Montgomery Regional Airport is in talks with Uber to bring the company to the airport.

Currently, Uber drivers can drop people off at the airport but cannot pick them up from the airport.

Chip Gentry, Vice President of Air Service Development, says the airport submitted an agreement to Uber in May and that many people are waiting to hear the outcome.

“We’re getting a lot of feedback and interest from the community,” he explained, “wanting to be picked up from the airport.”

Travelers at the airport say they hope Uber will be brought to the airport for it’s convenience.

“It’s real easy to get in and out, I can set my driver up to be there when I land,” he said, ” I just, everything is simple.
