Zeigler Asks House Committee to Present Bentley Impeachment for Special Session
State Auditor Jim Zeigler has asked the House Judiciary Committee to report at least one impeachment article against Gov. Bentley to the August 15 special session of the Alabama legislature.
Zeigler will release a copy of the request in a speech and news conference Tuesday, Aug. 9. He will address the Wetumpka Rotary Club at noon, Tuesday. He will also update the four investigations of Gov. Robert Bentley.
The meeting and news conference are at the Wind Creek Hotel, 3rd floor, 100 River Oaks Drive, Wetumpka, Ala.
