Troy’s Mikki Lewis named CoSIDA Academic All-District
TROY, Ala. (troytrojans.com) – Troy junior goalkeeper Mikki Lewis has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Women’s Soccer Team, the organization announced on Thursday.
Lewis is a St. Johns, Fla., native majoring in psychology and has posted a 3.83 GPA. The two-time All-Sun Belt Conference selection has posted 27 shutouts in her career – a school record – and with 34 wins is one victory shy of tying to program’s career mark.
Lewis was the only Sun Belt Conference representative in all districts as well as the only junior selected in District 4; she now advances to the CoSIDA Academic All-American Team ballot, with will be selected in June.
