Alabama’s Jalen Milroe named to the Davey O’Brien Quarterback Class of 2023

Alabama’s Jalen Milroe has been named one of the 35 quarterbacks in the Davey O’Brien Quarterback Class of 2023.
So far this season, Milroe has gone 99 of 153 through the air and thrown for 1,617 yards and 13 touchdowns. Then on the ground, Milroe had 77 rushes for 142 yards and five touchdowns. Milroe also ranks second in the SEC and eighth in the nation for passer efficiency, he owns a 175.0 rating.
Alabama has had two previous Davey O’Brien Award Winners, Mac Jones (2020) and Bryce Young (2021.)
The Semi-finalists for the award will be announced on November 14th and then the finalists will be released on November 28th. The winner of the award will be announced on December 8th at the Home Depot College Football Awards.
