Troy Defensive End, Javon Solomon earns Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week Honors.
During Troy’s 45-14 win against Louisiana-Monroe, Solomon tied the school’s single-game record for sacks in a game with four. Solomon’s four sacks tied Osi Umenyiora’s performance against Florida A&M in 2002. Solomon ranks sixth in the nation this season with ten sacks.
In addition to Solomon’s four sacks against the War Hawks, he also totaled eight tackles in the game as well.
