Alabama lands 23 players on the first day of the early signing period

Alabama signs 23 players to their 2024 class on the first day of the early signing period which runs through Friday, December 22nd. The Tide’s 23 signees come from several different states around the United States and even from two other countries- Alabama (9), California (3), Florida (2), Texas (2), Georgia (1), Missouri (1), North Carolina (1), Pennsylvania (1), Tennessee (1), Germany (1), and Canada (1).
The breakdown of the different positions the Crimson Tide picked up are as follows; defensive backs (4), linebackers (4), offensive lineman (3), defensive lineman (3), athletes (3), wide receivers (2), tight ends (2), quarterback (1), and running back (1.)
Among the 2024 class, are two five stars Jaylen Mbakwe and Julian Sayin, as well as 18 four star athletes according to at least one of the following outlets (247Sports, 247Composite, On3, On3 Consensus, Rivals.com and/or ESPN.com.)
