Kevin Reihner & Chris Boone named to the Troy Coaching Staff

Troy names Kevin Reihner & Chris Boone to the football coaching staff. Reihner will take over as the tight end and tackles coach while Boone will coach the outside linebackers.
Reihner comes to Troy having spent last season alongside Head Coach Gerad Parker at Notre Dame as the senior offensive analyst. Before his one-season stint at Notre Dame, Reihner spent three seasons at Old Dominion as the offensive line coach.
During Reihner’s time at Notre Dame, he played an important role in helping their offense achieve a seventh-place ranking nationally, averaging 39.2 points a game.
Boone makes his way to Troy off of a successful run at Samford as their defensive coordinator and safeties coach. Boone spent two seasons with the Bulldogs. During the 2022 season at Samford, Boone helped lead the Bulldogs to a historic 11-2 season that included a trip to the FCS quarterfinals.
