Alabama’s Gabby Gladieux earns SEC Specialist of the Week after tying for the nation’s highest individual score (9.975) which helped Alabama open their season with a win.
During the Tide’s trip to Las Vegas where they competed at the Super 16 Gymnastics Championships, Gladieux posted her 9.975 finishing first in floor exercise. And despite several nationally ranked programs in attendance (No. 5 UCLA, No.7 Cal, and No. 17 Auburn), Gladieux was the only gymnast to earn at least one ten on a routine.
Since beginning her career at Alabama, this is Gladieux’s second SEC weekly honor.
