“Rick and Bubba” ending radio show at end of the year

Alabama’s beloved radio hosts “Rick and Bubba” have announced that they will be signing off the airwaves at the end of the year.

They announced on their show this morning that 2024 would be the final year of their Birmingham-based “Rick & Bubba Show.” The show can be heard on stations throughout Alabama and many other states.

Rick Burgess and Bill “Bubba” Bussey, began their show in 1994.

They are the longest-serving radio hosts in Alabama with over 30 years under their belt.

They can be heard on WLWI in Montgomery.
