Pay It Forward: Carol Howard of Montgomery
Carol Howard is going through breast cancer for the third time, but that doesn’t get her down. In fact, her friends and family say she is still giving to others.
“She helps people out in the community. She also worked at daycare and Captain D’s with me for about 20 years. That’s how long we’ve been friends. Right now, what she is going through, she gonna make it because she’s a tough cookie,” said her friend Peggy Perry.
Howard’s daughters nominated her for the Vance Law Firm’s Pay It Forward for all that she does for others.
“She’s always giving and caring even in her time of need. She still manages to give and care for others. She is just an awesome mother, always has been,” said her daughter Lavane Howard.
Carol Howard says she is willing to help anyone in need.
“If I can do it, I’m gonna do it. Just call me and ask me. If I can’t do it, I can’t do it, but I’m gonna try, gonna try to do it now,” said Howard.
