Pay It Forward: Ella Dorsey of Millbrook
Ella Dorsey has spent many years caring for the sick and visiting people in the nursing home, whether it’s praying for them or bringing them gift baskets.
She was nominated by her daughter for all she has done over the years to pay it forward.
“I nominated my mother because she’s always helping others and giving back. Always going to see about other people, putting people before her. I think she is well-deserved of this,” said Kristi McKeithen.
When asked why she has given so much over the years, Ms. Dorsey has a simple answer.
“The Lord gives to us, so why shouldn’t we give to other people. That’s right, gotta help the ones who need it. I don’t mind doing it,” said Dorsey.
