Troy named the 2025 host site for the Sun Belt Softball Tournament

The Sun Belt Softball Tournament will return to Troy in 2025. This will be the fifth time the Trojans have hosted the tournament. This will be Troy’s first time hosting since 2021. The other year’s that Troy hosted include 2008, 2013, 2017. The Trojans five times hosting the conference tournament is the second most in the Sun Belt.
“Troy has a long history hosting the Sun Belt Conference Softball Championship, and we look forward to once again welcoming our conference partners to our beautiful campus and our amazing Troy Softball Complex in 2025,” Troy Director of Athletics Brent Jones said. “On behalf of Chancellor Hawkins, our university administration and athletics department, we would like to thank Commissioner Gill and the Sun Belt Conference for entrusting Troy University with hosting this prestigious event, and we will work tirelessly to put on another first-class event.”
“We look forward to returning to Troy for the 2025 Sun Belt Conference Softball Championship,” Sun Belt Conference Commissioner Keith Gill said. “As one of the nation’s premier softball leagues and a consistent multi-bid conference, we anticipate a first-class experience for our student-athletes and fans at the Troy Softball Complex next spring.”
