Alabama picks up the two seed at the Tallahassee Regional

After finishing the regular season and SEC Tournament play with a 33-22 overall record, the Crimson Tide earn the two seed in the Tallahassee Regional. Other teams that will be participating in the Tallahassee Regional are Florida State (host), UCF, and Stetson.

The Crimson Tide will begin regional play against UCF, who is the third seed, on Friday at 5:00 Central Time. Florida State will take on Stetson at 11:00 on Friday. Every regional is double elimination.

This will be the Crimson Tide’s 27th all-time appearance in the NCAA Tournament and Alabama is playing in back-to-back regionals for the first time since 2013-14. Overall in the NCAA Tournament the Crimson Tide holds a 74-53 (.583) record and a 60-37 (.619) record in regional play. Alabama has eight regional championships in program history (1950, 1983, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2006, 2010 and 2023.)
