Pay It Forward: Argentina Pasley of Prattville
Argentina Pasley is the lead nurse for Lowndes County Public Schools. She has 7 schools total where she supervises school nurses on a daily basis.
“Oh, when she came in. When she came into the school system, she took the bull by the horns and she ran with what she knew. And learned all that she could learn about school nursing,” said her nominator Carol Davis.
The staff appreciates all Nurse Pasley does for their school district.
And the kids? Well, they love her, too.
“Oh, they love her to death. They will come in and speak to her to and from their way to class. They just love her. I think she is a perfect example of what a nurse should be,” said Davis.
We asked Nurse Pasley what motivates her to give back. Her answer came easily.
“The love for the kids. So whatever I have to do, I do it. So I love these kids, you know, like my own. And some of them want to come home with me, so that’s what I like best. I say, ‘ok, you can come visit if your mama says so,’ I love it,” said Pasley.
