Pay It Forward: Brenda Carmichael of Montgomery
Brenda Carmichael has been with Montgomery Eye Surgery Center since its beginning in 1997.
“She’s an asset to the team. She can work in all areas. She’s efficient. She’s effective, and she makes everybody feel like they are right at home when they come in the door,” said her nominator Deborah Couthin.
Her motivation each day is to help people.
“Well, that’s the reason I got into the medical profession because I like working with people. I like trying to help people out the best that I can and whatever I can do to help them out, that’s what I try to do. I try to treat everybody like it’s my parent. I think of patients when they come back if their child was here what they would do, so that’s the way I treat my patients,” said Carmichael.
