Montgomery man dies two days after being shot

Montgomery police have launched a homicide investigation after a man died two days after being shot.

Police say 23-year-old Nickqurious Hooks of Montgomery was shot at around 11:02AM Wednesday, November 27, in the 3400 block of Harris Street. That location is near Fairground Road not far from Garrett Coliseum.

Harris died on Friday November 29 in a hospital.

Police say there is no other information available to release.
