Alabama tops JSU for the season sweep
 No. 23 Alabama baseball took down Jacksonville State, 11-1, on a windy Tuesday night at Rudy Abbot Field at Jim Case Stadium, securing the season sweep of the Gamecocks. The victory improves the Crimson Tide to 13-0 to begin the 2025 campaign.
Bryce Fowler closed 3-for-6 with two RBI atop the Tide lineup, contributing a pair of RBI-singles. Kade Snell was 3-fof-4 with a double and an RBI while Richie Bonomolo Jr. was also 3-for-4, adding a walk and two stolen bases. Will Plattner managed two hits in his four at-bats, including a double and two RBI. Justin Lebron drove in four runs as part of his 1-for-4 night, picking up his first triple of the new season. Coleman Mizell and Jason Torres were also responsible for an RBI apiece.
Aeden Finateri was tasked with his first start of the season, as the senior allowed just one run on three hits and two walks with a strikeout over his 2.1 innings. Braylon Myers (2-0) earned the win after tossing 2.2 scoreless frames out of the Tide bullpen. Myers surrendered just one hit and two walks with two strikeouts over his eight outs. Tate Robertson allowed just one baserunner over his 3.0 scoreless innings, while Ariston Veasey struck out the side in a scoreless ninth to close out the win.
