Montgomery man killed in fiery two-vehicle crash

A Montgomery man has been killed in a fiery two-vehicle crash just south of the city.

Alabama State Troopers say 58-year-old Nathan Griggs was driving a tractor-trailer that was hit by a pickup truck driven by 37-year-old Kyle Temple of Prattville. Both became engulfed in flames.

Investigators say Griggs was pronounced dead at the scene. Temple was taken to Baptist Medical Center South for treatment.

The crash happened just after 10AM yesterday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 31 and Pyramid Avenue, approximately one mile south of Montgomery.
