Man charged with capital murder after two teenagers were found dead in Wilcox County

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says a man has been charged with capital murder after two teenagers were found dead in the Wilcox County town of Pine Hill.

ALEA says 27-year-old Courtney Anderson of Thomasville is being held in the Wilcox County Jail.

Investigators say an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old were both found dead near Ralph Ervin Road. Both were found with gunshot wounds.

The teenagers had been reported missing since Monday, Nov. 17, and were reportedly last seen near Thomasville.

ALEA says nothing further is available as the investigation is ongoing. Once complete, the findings will be turned over to the Wilcox County District Attorney’s Office.
