Pay It Forward: Rozita Jones of Montgomery
Rozita Jones is always ready to help someone.
“Especially for her family,” said her nominator Tionee Baskin. “She takes care of her family and anybody that knows her become her family because she takes care of the them as well.”
She has been working with different women ministries throughout her lifetime.
And everyone knows they can count on her.
“She helps people with the small things, not just the big things, but also help people learn new things and can help people when they are struggling and guide them in the right direction,” said her granddaughter Promise Harris.
Even though Rozita is planning to move to a new town, she says she won’t stop paying it forward.
“Yes, you never stop what you’re doing no matter where you go. So no matter where you are, you still do the same thing. It doesn’t change just because you change places,” said Jones.
As for the $333 she was awarded?
“So I’m probably gonna share that with someone just because sometimes you never know what somebody else may need. You get a blessing and you can be a blessing to someone else,” said Jones.
