Man arrested in Opp after string of car break-ins

Opp police have arrested a man suspected in a string of car break-ins.

Police say 30-year-old Jason Lee Kendrick, Jr., of Opp is charged with four counts of breaking and entering a vehicle, two counts of theft of property, 2nd degree, two counts of theft of property, 4th degree and one count of burglary, 3rd degree.

Police say they took several reports of car break-ins that happened between December 12 and January 6. Several items were reported stolen during these incidents, police say.

Police say the investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges and/or arrests may occur.
