Warmer Wednesday, rain returns Thursday, pleasant this weekend
Wednesday morning started somewhat cool, with temperatures falling into the 30s prior to sunrise. However, strong generally south winds warmed temperatures to near 70° by midday despite widespread cloud-cover. Wednesday remains dry despite a mostly cloudy sky, with high temperatures near or slightly above 70°. Wednesday night looks mostly cloudy with low temperatures only falling into the mid 50s at most.
Rain returns Thursday, though showers and perhaps a few storms may remain somewhat scattered throughout the day. Despite some rain and more clouds than sunshine, temperatures warm above 70° Thursday afternoon. Showers with some thunder becomes more widespread Thursday evening through early Friday morning as a slow-moving cold front moves into and through our area. Soaking rain with totals of 1-2 inches appears possible.
Friday afternoon trends drier with at least a partially clearing sky. Meanwhile, temperatures remain fairly warm even after the cold front pushes to our south. Highs range from the low to mid 70s Friday. This weekend looks pleasant, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s, dry weather, and sunshine Saturday and Sunday. The first week of March could be mainly dry, and looks very warm with high temperatures approaching 80°.
