Victim identified in Sunday morning shooting
The man who police say was shot and killed in a Sunday morning shooting has been identified.
Montgomery Police have identified the man as 30-year-old Deanthony Payne of Montgomery.
MPD says officers responded to the 5100 block of Carmichael Road around 1:25 A.M. Sunday in reference to a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found a man who died from fatal injuries after being shot.
The circumstances remain under investigation and no additional information is available.
