Bridge repairs to begin Tuesday in Montgomery
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA Action 8) – If you’re traveling on I-65 south over Catoma Creek, you may want to give yourself extra time this week.
The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) has announced it will close the two inside lanes on I-65 south at exit 167 over Catoma Creek on Tuesday, July 28 for bridge repairs.
The lane closure will begin at approximately 9 a.m. to make necessary bridge repairs.
All lanes will reopen once repairs are completed.
ALDOT urges drivers to plan accordingly for possible delays and be mindful of people and equipment in the work zone.
