Montgomery Public Schools is getting students ready for a new year with a Back-to-School Bash
Montgomery, Ala. (WAKA) – Families with students in Montgomery Public Schools are invited to help kick off the new school year with a Back-To-School Bash.
Hosted by Montgomery Public Schools, this event will take place Saturday, Aug. 1, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl.
Parents and students can enjoy enteractive learning stations, tailgate games, bounce houses, giveaways, and much more!
Local organizations including Girls on F.I.R.E., CHANGE Nonprofit Organization and Young Men on a Mission Program, among others will also be on site providing families with resources and information.
Free school supply kits will also be avaliable while supplies last.
Organizers say this free event is a great way for families to enjoy some community fun all while making sure their students are prepared for the new school year. School starts on Aug. 10 for Montgomery Public Schools.
