Man seriously hurt in shooting on Fairview Avenue in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – A man has been seriously hurt in a shooting in Montgomery.
Montgomery police Lt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News that the man was shot at around 9:30 last night in the 800 block of Fairview Avenue.
McGriff said at the scene, officers found the man, who suffered life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
McGriff said there is no further information available in connection with this ongoing investigation.
