Still hot, drier through Wednesday; Rain chances rise late this week
Tuesday afternoon still looks hot with high temperatures in the low to mid 90s. However, east winds usher drier air into central and south Alabama Tuesday and Wednesday. That keeps humidity lower. While that may suppress rain chances through the middle of the week, heat index values also stay lower. Otherwise, Tuesday looks partly cloudy with perhaps a stray shower or storm possible in west Alabama. Tuesday night looks mostly clear with lows in the low 70s.
