Junior League of Montgomery welcomes thousands of students to job fair

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – More than 3,000 high school juniors and seniors have been welcomed to the Junior League of Montgomery’s annual College and Career Fair for juniors at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl.

The 42nd annual event brought in students from within a 60-mile radius to meet with college and career representatives.

“This is important because oftentimes, we understand that students don’t have this opportunity to be exposed to this many resources in one area. We have eliminated a barrier, allowing them the opportunity to come during school hours,” Amerika Blair, the president of the Junior League of Montgomery, told Action 8 News.
