Dates set for the 2027 War Eagle Run Fest
AUBURN, Ala. (WAKA) – The dates have been set for the 2027 War Eagle Run Fest.
Fresh Junkie Racing and Auburn Opelika Tourism announced Monday that the 5th annual race will take place February 20 and February 21, 2027.
Unlike years past, the race will take place over two days versus one.
Runners have the opportunity to compete in either a half marathon or 5K race through the campus of Auburn University. There is also a kids one mile fun run.
In addition to this year’s race, there’s also a Chamber Challenge where the Auburn and Opelika chamber members will compete against each other in the race.
A portion of the money from each team’s race registration will go toward a charity of their choice.
