Milder Monday night, warm Tuesday, rain returns Wednesday
Monday was a pleasant October day across central and south Alabama. The sky was cloudless from sunrise to sunset. Morning lows were quite cool, in the low to mid 40s. However, afternoon temperatures rebounded to near 80°. Monday evening and night look milder, with overnight lows near 50°. The sky remains mostly clear overnight, but clouds increase Tuesday. Although, Tuesday’s clouds produce no rain. Also, Tuesday looks warmer, with highs in the low to mid 80s.
Wednesday looks like a gloomy day. The sky becomes overcast Wednesday morning, then showers arrive during the afternoon. Rain continues through Wednesday night, and may gradually spread north. Also, rain may become heavier by Wednesday night. The highest rain totals through Thursday morning likely occur across far south Alabama. Locations further north may only see a little rain through Thursday.
Thursday afternoon trends drier, albeit with lingering clouds. Additional showers appear possible Friday. The weekend looks drier, and cooler, as another cold front pushes through Alabama Saturday. High temperatures range from the low to mid 70s Saturday and Sunday, with lows easily falling into the 50s each night. Early next week looks cool too, and rain-free with sunshine.
