Woman, baby killed in Wilcox County crash
A woman and a one-year-old baby have been killed in a one-car crash in Wilcox County.
Alabama State Troopers say 20-year-old Chakyra Wright and the baby, both of Lower Peach Tree, were critically hurt in the crash. They died at a hospital.
Investigators say Wright was not using a seat belt.
They say she was driving on Wilcox County Road 1 at around 5PM Sunday when the car left the road and hit a tree. The wreck happened about five miles south of Pine Hill.
