Three future members of Alabama & Auburn’s Men’s Basketball Teams named McDonald’s All-Americans

Auburn’s Class of 2024 commit Tahaad Pettiford and Alabama’s Class of 2024 recruits Derrion Reid and Aiden Sherell all named McDonald’s All-Americans.

 

Tahaad Pettiford

Pettiford a point guard from Jersey City, New Jersey is rated a four-star recruit by ESPN. Along with his four-star rating, ESPN also ranks the 5-10 point guard 6th on their top 100 point guards and 27th on their overall top 100.

Derrion Reid

Reid a 6-8 small forward from Grovetown, Georgia is rated a five-star recruit, number five small forward in the nation, and number eight player overall by ESPN. Reid will head to Tuscaloosa as the fourth highest rated recruit in program history. The only recruits rated higher than Reid to come through the program are Collin Sexton, Brandon Miller, and JD Davison, per 247Sports.

Aiden Sherrell

Sherrell a 6-10 power forward from Detroit, Michigan comes to Tuscaloosa as the number two power forward in the nation according to Rivals. Sherrell was also rated the 14th player overall by On3.
